Childcare Volunteers: Help Parents While They Learn English

Wesley Housing's community resource centers provide adult English classes to parents of small children, the number one tool new immigrants need to integrate into their communities. Help parents focus on learning by caring for a small group of infants and toddlers. As a Childcare Volunteer, you will play games and toys with them, read books to them and other recreational activities while ensuring their safety and well being.

Schedule: Weekly, every Tuesday: 11:00am-1:00pm

Commitment: Childcare Volunteers are asked to commit at least 4-6 months during adult education class attended by parents running once a week for 2 hours.

Bilingual in Spanish and previous experience preferred.
