Project Description

Hidden Oaks Parks needs someone with a knack for organizing and a love of planting. We will be packaging milkweed seeds by type into small envelopes! This requires opening seed pods, removing seeds from the silk, counting and packing in small envelopes and then adding informational stickers. This project creates space for you to learn about sorting seeds and to connect with the Earth. If time allows, volunteers will plant some milkweed seeds and clear invasive plants from a rain garden on site.
